"Humans are social beings. However, modern social services lead to the opposite effect. At best, we will not write a message to a friend who maintains the image of "everything is fine" for the public and suffers from loneliness. In the worst case, over time, we will lose valuable connections due to social illusion or acquire mental disorders. Nowadays, people need less superficial contact; there is a need for something more meaningful and authentic. We are returning social connections to their previous level, where people willingly communicate with each other and satisfy their need to belong to a community. It so happens that university ties are the strongest. There are several explanations for this, one of which is the number of points of contact with the university throughout one's life."
"The Joinee story began with the alum of Phystech - the alma mater to Nobel laureates, Forbes-listed entrepreneurs, unicorn startups, top-tier professionals, and an incredible network of 35,000 alums worldwide. We had a vision of creating a platform that could connect these extraordinary individuals with their alma mater and alumni. After countless nights dedicated to building a solution, the first alumni community was launched. As our community became more popular, more alumni of the other universities requested to create the similar community for their universities. We had to figure out how to make a scalable solution. Now, we have Joinee - the platform changing how we think about alumni networks and community support."
